The Man Bola Oyebamiji

Honourable Bola Oyebamiji is the current Commissioner for Finance in Osun state. He is an astute financial expert and had since his early days partaking in human developments.

HIS EARLY STAGE

Hon. Bola Oyebamiji a native of Ikire in Irewole local government of Osun state was a graduate of Banking and Finance and an experience banker of over 28 years.

An Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, and A Fellow of Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals. He attended a number of professional courses locally and offshore.

Oyebamiji obtained Masters of Business Administration from University of Ado-Ekiti and Masters of Public Administration from Lagos State University

As a succesful banker, his areas of competence include, Risk Management Investment, deep Business Development Strategic and Written Communication Skills

Due to his immense contributions to the financial bodies, he had series of awards to his honour.

Such awards includes: Best Regional Manager of the year 2009:

Overall Excellent performance award 2007
Most Profitable Commercial Manager of the year 2001:

Outstanding branch performer of the year 2001

HIS EDUCATIONAL PURSUIT

Hon. Oyebamiji Bola graduated from University Lagos in 1997 and University of Ado Ekiti in 2004 where he had Masters in Public Administration and Business Administration respectively.

Prior to that time, in July,1998, he possed Higher Diploma in Banking and Finamce from
The Polytechnic Ibadan

In June 2009 Oyebamiji was awarded Associate, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria while in October 2011 and November, 2016 he was been honoured with Fellow, Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria and Fellow, Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professional

Hon. Oyebamiji has worked in series of financial establishment where he displayed his financial acumen embedded in him,

He was the Regional Manager in Enterprise Bank Ltd 27, Karimu Kotun Street, Victoria Island between 2009-2013

He also worked as Head of Business Development in Spring Bank Plc,Adeola Odeku (Corporate Branch) Victoria Island Lagos between 2005-2006

Between2003-2005 He was the Principal Manager of Trans International Bank Plc
Head of Lagos Region .

He was also the Senior Manager of Trans International Bank Plc 42 Allen Avenue, Ikeja between 1998-2002

Oyebamiji Bola was Assistant Manager in Wema Bank Plc.International Banking Division between 1987-1992

He was appointed as Managing Director/CEO of Osun state Investment Company by governor Rauf Ategbesola of Osun state 2013.

Consequence upon the cabinet resuffled by Aregbesola’s administration in September, Hon. Bola Oyebamiji was appointed as the state Commissioner for Finance in 2017, Ministry of Finance
